Full Stack Developer (Java/NodeJS)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Austin, TX that is seeking a full time Staff Full Stack Developer for a 100% remote position. We would also consider someone UI or middle tier/backend-centric.

Essential Functions:

• Developing and supporting a large enterprise application in production with significant daily usage
• Developing and managing a robust set of RESTful APIs
• Migration our stack to microservices, Kubernetes/Docker and AWS
• Executing full lifecycle software development
• Programming well-designed, testable, efficient code
• Supporting and implementing the latest standards in securing data at rest and in transit
• Document and maintain software functionality
• Troubleshoot, debug and patch existing systems
• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications
• Integrate software components and third-party APIs

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering or a related field preferred or equivalent experience
• 7-10+ years in an operational role with proven success within the Enterprise SaaS or commercial product organization

• Understanding of containerization (Docker)
• Healthcare Industry experience a plus
